With the OS Main Entrance still under construction, please use Door 14, the 3rd Grade Wing / "Oak Street Courtyard" for any arrival after 8:50am or early pickup before 3:50pm. To call the OS Main Office, 703-248-5661 , prompt 1.
Door 14 is on Oak Street, south of the Main Entrance Door 1. If you are looking at the front of the school, this door is to the right and up the hill heading toward Seaton Lane.
A Security Officer will walkie the office to advise of the late arrival and escort the student down the 3rd grade hall. Student/Parent will need to come into the OS Office sign the student in, and the student will receive a Pass for class from the office, and proceed to class. The parent will exit via Door 14.
For early dismissals before 3:50, parents will need to call the OS Main Office (703-248-5661 , prompt 1) to advise that they have arrived at Door 14 (the 3rd Grade Door wing/ramp entrance). We will need to know the student's full name and teacher, so we can begin the process of early dismissal. The parent will be escorted to the Office, sign out their student, collect the student and leave via door 14.
We will have this be the temporary process for late arrivals and early dismals, until the main entrance work is completed. The good news is that concrete was being poured at the end of the first week of school.
