Radio France Internationale (RFI) broadcast a story this week featuring Mary Ellen Henderson/Meridian American Sign Language teacher, Brittany Dzugas-Smith. The premise was to understand the popularity of the course in American classrooms.
The course, offered to students at both schools on the Secondary Campus, is in its third year.
The program, "7 Billion Neighbors," on RFI and the website are entirely in French, but you can hear Ms. Dzugas-Smith briefly before an interpreter begins speaking.
